Judgments disguised as Feelings – what are ‘enemy images’? Compassionate / Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

Judgments disguised as Feelings – what are ‘enemy images’? Compassionate / Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

Presenter: Irma Jager & Filipa Hope

In this interactive session you will identify words that are used to express feelings, but that are in fact descriptions of a thought. When we use words such as ‘abandoned’ or ‘let down’, we are likely to stimulate conflict and stay in the victim trap. It can be empowering to drop these words, and move towards the connection we long for.

Join Irma and Filipa to explore this concept and learn how to translate thoughts into precious feelings, so we can be more resourced and resilient.
