What is Vinyasa?
The term Vinyasa is derived from nyasa, meaning “to place,” and vi, meaning “in a special way.” This indicates that we are bringing consciousness to each movement in each moment.
The Tantras understood it as the ‘sequence of consciousness,’ or how life unfolds from the creative pulse of life.
This session will be pitched at a general level, so you will have plenty of options to choose from.

Julie Stephens has been teaching yoga around the world for the past 20 years. Now residing in Nelson, Julie offers weekly classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings.
