Sonora Latina

Sonora Latina is an electrifying Latin band that hails from the vibrant city of Gisborne. This multicultural ensemble of 11 musicians comprises six talented Chilean musicians, one passionate Brazilian, one energetic English member, and two or three charismatic Kiwis. Together, they create an explosive musical fusion that brings the party to life and gets the crowd moving. Specialising in Latin music, Sonora Latina is renowned for their infectious rhythms, catchy melodies, and high-energy performances. Drawing inspiration from a variety of genres such as salsa, merengue, Cumbia, and more, their unique sound blends traditional Latin American music with contemporary influences, resulting in an irresistible and dance-worthy groove.
