Addressing Concerns and Clarifying Intention
We heard the concerns about some of the people that were listed on the Lunasa page of Luminate’s website and wish to clarify our intentions in order to support mutual understanding.
Change of plans for Luminate Festival
For 2021, to meet the need for extended community, friends and family to be together, we will hold space at this ancient seasonal time (3–10 February) on Pikikirunga for a new back-to-our-roots co-creation. We are naming the event Lunasa.
Lunasa – Relax, Recharge, Restore
Primarily, Lunasa provides an opportunity for people to camp with friends and family for a week in a beautiful mountain environment surrounded by native forest; to enjoy the land and its surroundings, appreciate its unique qualities, relax, recharge, and restore connection with nature.
