Peruvian maca, cacao and the endocannabinoid system
Presenter: Dr Corin Storkey
We explain the purpose of the endocannabinoid system ECS and how it works, the difference between human and plant cannabinoids and how to activate our ECS using natural plants like cannabis, Peruvian maca, ceremonial cacao and plant based terpenes. We will also be showcasing a new cannabinoid oil product developed here in New Zealand that is a 100% natural alternative or compliment to cannabis oil. The ECS has been widely researched since the discovery of its self-healing abilities through plants like cannabis. It has been shown to help treat and manage many health conditions like chronic fatigue, pain, inflammation, autoimmunity, mental health, migraine and many more. However in New Zealand access to cannabis is restricted to prescription only and at a high price point.
