Health Workshop
Learn the fundamental principles of yin/yang and 5 Elements and how we might best utilise these principle to enhance our lives in the 21st Century. Participants will benefit from the huge wellspring of knowledge of Traditional Oriental Medicine and utilise this understanding to increase their ability to enjoy better health.
The understanding of the basic principles of hot and cold, light and dark, activity and rest, life and death are the fundamental underpinnings of the philosophy upon which traditional acupuncture is practiced.
3000 years of wisdom is an amazing treasure trove of knowledge to draw upon and it is my privilege to share the understanding that I have gleaned from 30 years of practice with you. My aim is to enhance the ability of participants to benefit from the huge wellspring of knowledge of Traditional Oriental Medicine and utilise this understanding to increase their ability to enjoy better health.
Presenter Bio:
Alan is an internationally recognised teacher and practitioner of Japanese Acupuncture. In clinical practice for 35 years, he is driven by a strong desire to use the consumer friendly nature and potency of Japanese Acupuncture to benefit all who seek his assistance. He has presented, convened and hosted more than 50 Japanese Acupuncture/Meridian Therapy workshops all over the world. Alan also holds a diploma of massage and was the head of the Acupuncture Department at the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences.
