Come and learn to fly and experience being part of the circus.
In these workshops you will be building strength, flexibility, co-ordination & confidence. Hanging upside down on the aerial silk has many benefits, increasing circulation to the brain, helping to improve memory, concentration, awareness and stress relief.
Safe and suitable for all ages and abilities.
Presenter Bio:
Instructor and owner of Firebird Circus, Beck has been involved in the circus arts since 1996. She has a diploma in Circo-Arts from the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology. She has performed around New Zealand including with the Aotearoa Circus. She now offers circus classes at the Motueka Recreation Centre with over 100 students.
